Sibbie E. (Schoffstall) Jackson

Sibbie E. (Schoffstall) Jackson, 95, of West Terre Haute, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 in Providence Healthcare.

She was born November 9, 1925 in West Terre Haute to Samuel Schoffstall and Mary Wood Schoffstall.

Sibbie was a homemaker. She loved to cook and have family dinners. She was a big Pacer fan.

Sibbie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 51 years, Norman R. Jackson, whom she married on July 7, 1946; her son, Curtis Jackson; grandson, Joey Brockmeier; great granddaughter, Reagan Mason; two brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Sharon and Fred Brockmeier and Debra and Floyd Mason; her son and his wife, Norman and Judy Jackson; daughter-in-law, Lynne Jackson; 12 grandchildren, Lee, Clint, and Andy Brockmeier, Melanie Cobble, Perry Wayne and Brad Jackson, Curt, Benson and Justin Jackson, Floyd and Brian Mason, and Angela Youngblood; 16 great grandchildren, and 5 great great  grandchildren, as well as, many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her friends from Providence Healthcare, who became like family.

Services will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana, with visitation from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Her grandson, Curt Jackson, will be officiating; burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
