Paul A. Augustus

Paul A. Augustus, 81 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in Union Hospital.  He was born in Paris, IL on August 4, 1940 to Everett Augustus and Letha Staley Augustus.

Paul was a member of First Baptist Church of West Terre Haute and was a 1958 graduate of Paris High School.

Paul is survived by his wife Nancy Fields Augustus whom he married on July 29, 1962 and their three sons: Jeff Augustus (Bekah), Keith Augustus (Stephanie), and Kevin Augustus (Joyce).  Also surviving are two sisters: Doris Lau (Mike) and Rita Goodman, and his grandchildren: Nathan (Ciara), Ethan (Allison), Lauren, Jordan, Brandon, Tyler, Mercy, Lily, Jessica, and Timothy, as well as one great grandson, Aiden, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Garry Geer officiating.  Burial will follow in New Providence Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of West Terre Haute, in his memory.
