Marion Albert ("Bud") Gardner

Marion (Bud) Albert Gardner, Sr., age 80 was born September 21, 1940 in West Terre Haute Indiana and passed away peacefully in his home on July 22, 2021.

Bud was a member of the Carpenters Union, Laborers 204 and he owned and operated Bud & Son’s Auto Salvage for 28 years.   He enjoyed woodworking, decorating for Christmas, playing games and he was always available to help anyone who needed it.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Francis Leo Gardner and Martha Pauline Gilbert Gardner his brother Paul Gardner, his sisters Maxine Oschwend and Dottie Craigo, and grandchildren Rickie Agnew Jr . and Bryan Gardner.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Judith Wright Gardner, his children Albert (Nancy) Gardner, Janet (Rick) Herman, Kevin (Penny) Gardner, and Cheryl Gardner.

His siblings, Raymond Gardner, Donald (Mary) Gardner, Jerry Gardner, Connie (Tug) Brock, Mary Bunch, Linda (John) Ricks, Debbie (James) Justice, and Denise (Ron) Mcfadden.

His grandchildren, Matthew (Sharla) Gardner, Kristin (Rob) Schalburg, Lindsey Gardner, Amberlee (Andrew) Fabino, Jeffrey (Kathryn) Agnew, Christopher Gardner, Sara (Holden) Hein, Zachary (Libby) Hein.

His great grandchildren, Kyanna Gardner, Jordan Schalburg,, Kyndrick Switzer, Devin Schalburg, Brynn DeBaun , Eli Gardner, Mady Gardner,  Aniyah Fabino, and Bennett Storkman and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 7:00 PM, with Richard Herman officiating.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow the service.  Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 3:30 PM until time of service in the funeral home.
