Kristina Kaye (Tanner) Carter

Kristina Kaye Carter, 53 of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 in Regional Hospital.  She was born in Terre Haute on July 26, 1967 to Jack O. Tanner, Sr. and Deanna Edwards Tanner.

Kristina had a variety of interests, she enjoyed gardening, landscaping,  mushroom hunting, fishing, and being on the back of a motorcycle.  Her grandkids meant everything to her.

Kristina is survived by her children; son Travis Carter (Cari) and their children, Austin Perroud, Aubrie Perroud, and Jacob Carer, son Robert Carter (Kelsee) and their children, Bently Carter, Kenlee Carter, Milee Carter, and King Carter, and daughter Nicole Carter (Quinton) and their children, Andrew Brady, Dominic Brady, Emilee Snow, Kaydin Brady, Quinton Brady and Arya Brady.  Also surviving are her parents Jack O. Tanner, Sr, and his wife, Judy,  and Deanna Tanner;  her fiancée Donald Kearschner, a brother, Jack O. Tanner, Jr., and  sisters, Karen Favre (O’video), Kelly Wolfe (Mike), Kim Reese and Jaymie Couthern, as well as an aunt, Connie Edwards; special friends, Joe Carter and Robert West; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Mark Kelly officiating.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 12 Noon until time of service.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow services.  The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Riley Children’s Hospital, in her memory.
