Kenneth Criss, Sr.

Kenneth Criss, Sr., 71 of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 16, 2019.  He was born in Terre Haute on April 2, 1948 to Ollie H. Criss and Goldie C. Criss.

Kenneth enjoyed spending time with family and friends and working at the car wash.  He was a life-long resident of Vigo County.

Kenneth is survived by four children; Kenneth Criss, Jr. (wife Kathy), Victoria Frost (husband Martin), Michael Criss, and Katherine Newman (husband James).  He is also survived by a brother, Donald Criss, as well as seventeen grandchildren and several great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as a brother, Robert, and two sisters, Mary and Dolly.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, In on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 4:00 PM, with Rev. Curtis Mitchell officiating.  Visitation is on Monday from 3:00 – 4:00 PM at the funeral home.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation is to follow services.
