Obituary
Jeffrey Allen Gemmaka, 62 of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. He was born in Terre Haute on July 26, 1961 to James William Gemmaka and Ruth Ann Tingley Gemmaka.
Jeff is survived by two daughters, Leslie Gemmaka and Elizabeth Gemmaka, and his mother, Ruth Taylor. He is also survived by two granddaughters, Lyla Lindsey and Mya Griffin, as well as two sisters, Kathi Gemmaka and Julie Gemmaka and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, as well as his step-father, Carl Taylor in 2017 and his brother Danny Gemmaka in 2018. Jeff loved the Chicago Bears.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, In on Monday, August 28, 2023 at 5:00 PM, with Pastor Ethan Smith officiating. Cremation will follow services. Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 3:00 – 5:00 PM in the funeral home.
