Janice M. (Axe) Corlett

Janice M. Corlett, 83 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 in Springhill Village.  She was born in Greene County, In on December 16, 1937 to Walter W. Axe and Marie M. Denny Axe.

Janice loved to cook and bake, and enjoyed reading, but she loved her grandkids and great grandkids the most.

Janice is survived by her five children; Brenda Dawson, Mark Corlett, Jackie Emery (Greg), Marlena Auterson, and Beth Collier.  She is also survived by her sister, Louella Kay Roach, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Axe, her mother, Marie McPherson, her husband Jack Corlett, a daughter, Lora Lee Corlett, a granddaughter, Stephanie Royer, and a sister, Erma Ruth Bennett.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday in the funeral home from 11:00 AM until time of service.
