Obituary
Emojean Marie Barnes, 82 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in Cobblestone Crossings. She was born in Terre Haute on June 20, 1940 to Willard Leon Meeks and Emma Jean Fields Meeks.
Emojean was a member of Westside Christian Church and loved to play BINGO.
Emojean is survived by her daughter, Anna Schatz, and two sons, Dan Meeks and Steve Barnes. She is also survived by her sister, Vicki Larimer, and two granddaughters, Melissa Coomer and Jodi Sullivan, as well as four great grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Barnes in 2012, and a granddaughter, Crystal Barnes.
Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM, with Tommy Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
