Edward Kesler

Edward Kesler, 71, of West Terre Haute, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 in Union Hospital.

He was born March 31, 1950 in Terre Haute to Donald G. Kesler and Jerry R. (Keegan) Kesler.

Edward was retired from the United States Army and worked for Motorola  for 25 years. He was a member of West Side Christian Church, Sons of the American Revolution John Martin Branch and the American Legion Post # 501. Edward was an amateur radio enthusiast, operating under the call sign WD4MJF. He especially enjoyed spending time with his beloved family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Edward is survived by his wife, Darla L. (Luft) Kesler, whom he married on April 3, 1971; his sons, Mark Kesler and his wife, Whitney, and James Kesler and his wife, Heather; brothers, Thomas Kesler (Candace), Donald Kesler (Ruth), Charles Kesler (Pauline) and J.D. Kesler (Ulla); and his grandchildren, Zoe Kesler, Holden Kesler, Samuel Kesler, Katherine Kesler and Carver Kesler.

Services will be Monday, June 28, 2021 at 1:00 p.m at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana. Visitation will be Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Chris Wilbur will be officiating; burial, with military honors, will be in New Providence Cemetery.
