Diana Rae Ramey, 74 of Prairieton, IN, passed away on February 22, 2023 in her son’s residence.  She was born in Terre Haute on June 11, 1948 to Charles Ramey and Elizabeth Bryant Ramey.

Diana was a member of the Terre Haute Eagles Aerie Lodge # 291, American Legion Post # 346 of Terre Haute Ladies Auxiliary, and the VFW Post # 972 of Terre Haute Ladies Auxiliary.  She loved to bake and cook for her family, and enjoyed surprising family members with gifts.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, as family was very important to her.

Diana is survived by her two sons, Rick Lewis (wife Sherry), and Randy Lewis (wife Kelley), and seven grandchildren; Stephanie Schopmeyer (husband Chad), Wesley Lewis (Mackenzie Roth), Shyanna Lewis, Karley Lewis, Austin Lewis, J.T. Stewart, and Markis Renshaw, and great grandchildren; Kolton, Kayson, Easton, Addison, and Lainey.  She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Ramey, and mother and step-father, Elizabeth and James Lankford, Sr., an infant daughter, Millie Jo Bayer, siblings; Donnie Ames, Bill Ames, Mick Lankford, Sharon Voorhees, and Jimmy Lankford, Jr., as well as a special friend, Homer Cox.

Visitation for Diana will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow.
