Carol Ann Benefiel

Carol Ann Benefiel, 67 of Terre Haute, passed away on April 27, 2021 in Union Hospital.  She was born in Terre Haute on January 6, 1954 to Francis Benefiel and Virginia Daniels Benefiel.

Carol’s memberships include The Red Hat Society, VFW Post # 972 Ladies Auxillary, and Voiture 40/8 Club.  She worked for several years as a pharmacy technician at Ash Pharmacy.

Carol is survived by her two children; Scott Griffy and Jennifer Griffy, as well as her mother, Virgina Benefiel.  Also surviving are her siblings Marry Warren, Dorothy Benefiel, and Arch Benefiel, as well as seven grandchildren; Cheyenne Griffy, Logan Griffy, Gage Grizzel, Chase Grizzel, Tatum, Grizzel, Kambree Hayes, and Dorian Hayes, as well as eight great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father, three brothers, and one grandson.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been chosen, with a celebration of life service to be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN.
