"Bub" Jerry Lee Giles Jr.

“Bub” Jerry Lee Giles, Jr., 44 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021.  He was born in Terre haute on February 27, 1977 to Jerry Lee Giles and Sandra J. Stuck Giles.

Jerry was a painter with the Painters Union Local # 197, and was currently working at Fuquay Painting. He was a member of the West Terre Haute Young Men’s Club.  He was a 1996 graduate of West Vigo High School where he played football and baseball.  His smile was contagious, and he never met a stranger.  He enjoyed playing horseshoes and cornhole, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Jerry is survived by his fiance’ April Cook Giles, a son, Logan Kaden Giles, three daughters; Brandy Cobble (Jacob), Kayla Blystone (Brandon), and Jordyn Cook (Swade Brown), his sister, Joni Joseph (Mike), and his parents, Jerry and Sandy Giles.  He is also survived by special cousins/brothers Gary Stuck and Tim Stuck, cousin/best friend Donnie Moss and his children, grandchildren Noah and Jaxson Cobble; his aunts and uncles; Brenda, Penny, Nancy, Freddie, Rickie Randy, and Ed.  He also leaves behind his father-in-law, Frank Francis (Kay), nieces and nephews Jacob, Sadie, Brie, and Michael, as well as several other cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Walter and Wilma Giles, Fred and Caroline Stuck, his uncle Gary Stuck, and his mother-in-law Sharon Francis; and his aunts Marcia and Peggy.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Troy Isles, Pastor Chris Wilbur, and Pastor Dennis Leek officiating.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 9:00 AM until time of service in the funeral home. Pallbearers are Gary Stuck, Tim Stuck, Jacob Cobble, Donnie Moss, Jeremy Moss, Brandon Blyston, and honorary pallbearer Swade Brown.
