Betty (Schoffstall) Sollars, 67, of Clinton and formerly of West Terre Haute, died at home, peacefully with all of her family around her.
Betty became one of God’s Angels on September 29, 2020 at 6:00 a.m.
She was the daughter of Jim Schoffstall and Dorothy (Schoffstall) Buchanan and the step-daughter of Edward Buchanan, Sr.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Joe Sollars, Sr.; one son, Joey Sollars, Jr. (Geneva); one daughter, Jaime (Sollars) Bratcher (Billy); five grandsons, Griffin Gilliam (Kaity), Gavin Gilliam (Kaylee), Reese Sollars, Ethan Bratcher, Titus Bratcher; two granddaughters, Nolee Sollars and Braylyn Bratcher. She is also survived by two brothers, Steve Schoffstall (Candy) and Danny Schoffstall; one sister, Linda Tomes; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both parents; her sister, Laura Shattuck; and two brothers, Jimmy Schoffstall and Richard Buchanan.
She worked most of her life taking care of her patients as a Patient Care Tech at Union Hospital. She enjoyed camping, gardening, Bingo and crafts. She especially liked crocheting and plastic canvas. She had a great love for rescue dogs and rescued many in her life.

Services will be held Friday, October 2, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana, with visitation from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pastor Curtis Mitchell will be officiating; private burial of ashes will follow at a later date in Bethesda Memorial Park.
