Vera Rose Heyen

Vera Rose Heyen, 96 of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 in Union Hospital.  She was born in Vigo County on December 29, 1926 to William Parsons and Lyda Leota Maxwell Parsons.

Vera played the piano by ear as she and her family were very musically inclined.

Vera is survived by three daughters; Donna Faye Davidson, Sandra Heyen, and Tammy Eldredge (Grady), as well as four grandchildren; John A. Davidson, Daniel D. Davidson, Brittany Rose, and Denton Eldredge as well as seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband John William Heyen, her son John E. Heyen, and her siblings; Clarence Parsons, George Parsons, Paul Parsons, Charles Parsons, and Virginia Anderson.

In keeping with Vera’s wishes, graveside services will be held at Bethesda Memorial Park on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 1:00 PM, with burial to immediately follow.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
