Thurman L. Dailey, 70 of Marshall, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday evening, May 2, 2020 at his home. He was born in Terre Haute, IN on February 21, 1950 to Ova L. Dailey and Mary E. Price Dailey.
Thurman is survived by his wife of 52 years, Karen Maskell Dailey, and their two sons, Brian L. Dailey (Randi) of LaHabra, CA and Jeffrey A. Dailey (Samantha) of Clinton Township, MI. Also surviving are two brothers, Steve Dailey (Diane) of Lees Summit, MO and Roger Dailey (Robin) of Brazil, IN, as well as five grandchildren, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Thurman graduated from Garfield High School in 1968. He was a great son, husband, Dad, and a wonderful grandpa. He enjoyed singing Karaoke for many years and he mostly loved spending time with all his family. He was a member of River of Life Church and loved the Lord. He will be truly missed by all his family and friends!
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN followed by a public graveside service at South Vigo Congregational Cemetery (Black Cemetery) on Friday, May 8, 2020 at 2:30 PM, with Pastor Joe Irwin officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the cemetery.
