Thelma Lenora Morris

Thelma Lenora Morris, 61, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on June 13, 2026. She was born on October 6, 1964, in Gary, Indiana, to Samuel F. Morris Sr. and Margaret Morris.

Thelma graduated from West Side High School in Gary and attended the Virginia Marti School of Fashion in Cleveland, Ohio. Throughout her life, she worked as a seamstress, retail manager, and most recently at Union Hospital in Terre Haute IN.

She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and remained devoted to her faith throughout her life. Thelma was known for her kindness, strength, generosity, patience, and loving spirit.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory 5 children, 3 Grandchildren, 2 Sisters, 2 Brothers and a host of nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends who loved her.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 29, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana. Pastor Terry Clark will officiate. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Terre Haute.
