Terry Lynn Kelley Coleman Brooks

Terry Lynn Kelley Coleman Brooks, 49 of Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025 in the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. She was born in Terre Haute on January 4, 1976.

Terry knew she was born to be a Mom, her kids were her life.

Terry is survived by her husband Greg Brooks and a daughter, Haley Coleman, as well as her mother Connie Light Kennedy and her step-father Rick Kennedy. She is also survived by her sisters Angel Kelley-Monday, Skylar Kennedy, Alexis Kennedy, and four brothers; Rickey Kennedy, Paul “PJ” Kennedy, and Rickey Lee Kelley, Tony Kennedy who she cared for as a son, her mother-in-law Joan Brooks, as well as the father of her children, Johnny Coleman, and former mother-in-law, Sharon Coleman, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brittany Coleman.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Alice "Cookie" Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasantview Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 Pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contribution s be made to The American Cancer Society, Hope Lodge in Lexington, KY, or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society “LLS”, in her memory.
