Suzanne E. Smith Cooper

Suzanne E. Smith Cooper, 57 of Dennison, IL and formerly of West Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 in Regional Hospital.  She was born in Terre Haute on December 1, 1964 to Jack Smith and Rose D’Addario Smith.

Suzanne was a member of the Clinton American Legion Post # 140 Ladies Auxiliary, West Terre Haute VFW Post # 6574 Ladies Auxiliary, and the West Terre Haute Young Men’s Club.

Suzanne is survived by her husband Brad Cooper, and two daughters, Ashley Harmon (Michael), Tiffany Callahan (Jesse), as well as seven grandchildren; Haley Harmon, Lane Martin, Hunter Callahan, Miley Callahan, Kayden Harmon, Brentley Callahan, and Aubrey Harmon.  She is also survived by six sisters; Frances Faulkner, Jacqueline Mundell (George), Barbara Mundell (Gary), Darlene Smith, Rosalie Eversole (Jimmy), and Michelle Smith, as well as five brothers; Gary Faulkner (Jackie), Jettie Faulkner (Minnie), Jack Smith (Alice), Mike Smith, and Howard Smith (Nellie), as well as her dog Sobee and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Larry Faulkner and Richie Faulkner, and dear friends Martin Mundell and Fred Thomas.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating.  Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 10:00 AM -1:00 PM in the funeral home.  In honoring her wishes, cremation has been chosen with burial of ashes at a later date.
