Sharon Rose Stanford, 72, passed away April 18, 2024, in Majestic Care of Deming Park at 12:58 p.m. She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on December 25, 1951, to Ebb Howard and Violet Edmondson Howard. Sharon worked as a CNA for many years at the Meadows Manor and Cannon Inn. Sharon was a loving and caring mother. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. She enjoyed playing card games, especially euchre and going on bingo trips with her daughters. She was quite a prankster and loved jokes. She also enjoyed fishing and camping. She very much liked to travel and will always remember her trip to California with her sister. Sharon was a member of Highland Church and loved to attend Sunday service. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Ebb Booker, brothers; Jack, Donnie, and Charles, sisters; Debbie, and Carol Ann, and a niece, Connie Fagg.
Sharon is survived by her son, Thomas Booker (Shannon), daughters, Dawn Wallace (Ronnie) and Pebbles Custer, brothers; Ray Howard, and Ebb “Buddy” Howard, a sister, Bessie Fagg, grandchildren; Levi Booker, Ronnie Wallace Jr., Andrea Booker, Jacob Minnich, Violet Stanford, Dakota Custer, Rose Rosa and several great grandchildren.
Services for Sharon will be Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024 in Highland Church, at 1 p.m., 2400 Silvan Road, West Terre Haute, Indiana, 47885, with Pastor Ryan Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Calcutta Cemetery in Brazil, IN. Visitation is scheduled from 12 noon at the church on Tuesday. Fitzpatrick Funeral home was entrusted with arrangement.
