Sharon Kay (Porter) Price

Sharon Kay Porter Price, 79, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 12:15am EST surrounded by family.

Kay was born February 17, 1944 in Speeds, Indiana to Brooks and Joea Porter. Kay is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Price; their 4 children, David Price (Wendy), Jennifer Ochs (Terry), Daniel Price (Robin), and Mary Price. Her 12 grandchildren, Sarah Foster (James), Rachel Barnett (Robert), Brandi Patterson, Elizabeth Bolin (Corey), Ethan Price (Kelsey), Ben Price, Mykayla Beck (Ben), Madilyn Fairchild (Richard), Alicia Gallant, Christian Price, Kaitlynn Price, and Izabella Price; 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren Also surviving are her 4 sisters, Nadine McKinney, Janet Shepherd, Linda Cox, and Betty Jean Pilkin, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her 2 brothers, Brooks Jr. “Buddy”, and Jimmie Dale Porter.

Kay will always be remembered for her faith, strength, the love she had for her family, and spreading the word of The Lord to everybody she met.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Terry Blanchard officiating.  Burial will follow in Black Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
