Shane Hanalei Hedden

Shane Hanalei Hedden, 48, of West Terre Haute, was called home on June 28th, 2025.

Shane was born on July 8th, 1976, in Terre Haute, Indiana. Whether it was riding his four-wheeler, tinkering in the garage, or just spending time with family and friends; Shane brought joy to those around him with his infectious smile, laughter, and his need to help others.

Shane is survived by his parents: Dickie Hedden Sr. and Rose Nobles (Kelly); brothers: Nathan Hedden (Cassandra) and Dickie Hedden Jr. (Sonya); sisters: Kristol Hadler (Nick) and Natalie Cottrell (Craig); daughter: Whitney Shimboff; son: Chase Hedden, and partner: Amy Rogers. Shane enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, hanging out with his family, and reading about his son’s success as a Viking.

A casual gathering to celebrate Shane’s life will be held on August 9th at 2pm, at The Young Men’s Club. Friends and family are invited to come as they are, share stories, and remember the good times.
