Sarah Ann Whitsit

Sarah Ann Whitsit, 40 of Terre Haute, passed away unexpectedly on May 21st, 2026. Sarah was born May 6th, 1986, in Terre Haute to Robert (Pete) L. Whitsit Jr. and Sherri L. Pruiett.

Sarah loved being with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, who were her pride and joy, and they absolutely adored and loved her. Sarah also loved hanging out with her friends or talking to them on the phone for hours on end. Her fur babies will miss her dearly, Pup, Tazlina, Taz, Jasper, and Miley.

Sarah is survived by her mother Sherri Pruiett; siblings, Josh Whitsit (Shauna), David Washburn, Sierra Pruiett, Samantha Sandifer (Stevie), Karl Bowen (Bridgett), and Nate McCormick; nieces and nephews, Trenton, Zia, Haelynn, Daevinie, MJ, Michelle, Makiaha, Sirinity, Aurora, and Brandon; The love of her life and soulmate, Robbie Jeffers; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and an army of friends that loved her dearly.

She is proceeded in death by her father, Robert (Pete) L. Whitsit Jr.; as well as grandparents, David and Marlene Pruiett, Judy and Glen Rudisel , and Robert Whitsit Sr.

In keeping with her wishes cremation was chosen. A celebration of life service will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd street, West Terre Haute, IN 47885, on Monday, June 1st, 2026, beginning at 12:00 pm with Pastor Dennis Leek officiating. A visitation will be held prior to services in the funeral home from 11:00 am until the service time. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
