Sarah P (Stout) Parker of Clinton, Indiana flew home to be with her Savior on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the age of 89. She went to be with many of her loved ones. She was the current pianist of Victory Baptist Church in Clinton, Indiana. Sarah was born with the God given gift of music, though she could never read a note or received any training. At a very young age, Sarah began playing piano at Shiloh Church in Shelburn by sitting on a stack of hymnals, in the 80s and 90s played keyboard with Austin City Limits and The Road Ramblers, and in 1999 was inducted into the Wabash Valley Musicians Hall of Fame. In 1998, Sarah came back to her roots and dedicated her life to the Lord, playing piano at church, singing gospel music with her family, New Visions, most recently every Friday evening you would find her at The Barn making music with all of her friends. Music was such a motivation for her to keep pressing on later in her life, but her Lord, family, and many, many friends, were her greatest motivation and joy in life. Sarah’s other hobbies included her love of the outdoors, especially her flower garden where she would fill her bird feeders and watch the birds. She loved everyone and everyone loved her, she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children, Anna Pine (Dale) of West Terre Haute, Deborah Thomas of West Terre Haute, Step-sons, Steven Parker (Jennifer) and John Parker (Gwen), a brother, Don Stout of Coalmont, Indiana, a sister, Donna Jones of Terre Haute grandchildren, Lora Pine (Kenny) of West Terre Haute, Dale “J.R.” Pine Jr. (Kimmi) of Terre Haute, Steven Reed II (Ashley) of Brazil, Indiana, Jeramy Thomas of Rico, Colorado, Sarah Littleton (Avion) of Champaign, Illinois, Paul “PJ” Johnson of Terre Haute, step grandchildren, Brooke Waters (Larry), Amber Cooper (John), Jesse Parker, Dillion Parker, Jasmin Rogers (Kyle), Jacob Wesley (Diamond), Justin Wesley, great grandchildren, Cody, Zoe, Matthew, Anna, Jeremey, Michael, Makaela, Joseph, Delilah, Steven III, Hunter, Curtis, Kynslee, Skylar, Dalton, Daniel, Haley, Kenzie, Marilyn, Sofia, 4 great great grandchildren with another on the way to arrive soon, Khaleesi, and so many who called her Aunt Sarah, and also an abundance of friends.
