Robert Eugene Beaver

Robert Eugene Beaver Sr., 63, of West Terre Haute passed away Friday August 26, 2016 in his home. He retired as a veteran of the U.S. Army after a total of thirty years of military service including time enlisted with the U.S. Navy as well. He was born December 1, 1952 in Terre Haute to Raymond Beaver and Ethel Matherly Beaver. Survivors include: His wife Connie Sue Switzer Beaver whom he married on August 21, 1976 at West Terre Haute; four children Kelly Beaver and her husband Robert Powell, Bobby Beaver and his companion Joyell, Jeremy Beaver, and Brittany Auler and her companion Kevin Steele; a daughter-in-law Christy Beaver; eight siblings Rick, Brenda, Roxanna, Richard, Raymond, James, Jean, and Rena; twelve grandchildren Joshua, Robert, Briana (Caleb), Nikki (Dale), Dayton, Kevin, Jazlynn, Keith, Chelsea, Abby, Matthew, and Zachary; and a great grandchild Haily. He was preceded in death by a son Keith Beaver; his mother Ethel Walker and step-father Richard Walker; his father Raymond Beaver; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law Jim and Betty Switzer. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Pastor David Ward officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery with military graveside rites by the Vigo County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday.
