Richard Wayne Hinkle, Sr., 77 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 in Westridge Healthcare. He was born in West Terre Haute on October 7, 1944 to Mack P. Hinkle and Frances Howell Hinkle.
Richard is survived by five children; Sandra Wilson, Lena Barnes, Robert Hinkle, Ernie Hinkle, and Katherine Bowman. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Diane McCauley Hinkle, two sons, Richard Wayne Hinkle, Jr. and Ronald Eugene Hinkle, and several brothers and sisters.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen, with no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
