Richard A. Faulkner, 71, of West Terre Haute passed away December 14, 2020 in his home.

He was born September 5, 1949 in Oxnard, California to Jettie Henry Faulkner, Sr. and Rose Mary D’Addario Faulkner.

Richard retired from Indiana State University after 43 years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jettie Henry Faulkner, Sr., his mother, Rose Mary Smith, his step-father, Jack R. Smith; and a brother, Larry Reed Faulkner.

Richard is survived by his son, Christopher Faulkner (Katti); brothers, Lawrence Ronald “Ron” Gary Faulkner (Jackie), Jettie H. Faulkner, Jr. (Minnie) , and Howard Smith (Nellie); sisters, Frances Jean Faulkner, Barb Mundel (Gary), Jacqueline Mundel (George), Darlene Smith, Rosalie Eversole, Michelle Smith and Suzanne Cooper (Brad); grandchildren, Gabriel and William Faulkner; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana with visitation from 12:00 noon until service time.
