Regina M. Ridge, 89 of Graysville, IN passed away peacefully at her home on April 3, 2026. Regina was born on September 21, 1936, at her family home in Merom Station, Indiana, to her loving parents, Harold and Gladys Roseberry.
Regina grew up alongside her sister, Becky Libke of Terre Haute, Indiana. Regina graduated from high school in Terre Haute and went on to briefly attend business school before embarking on what would become a remarkable career at Brown’s Jewelry Store and remained a devoted and valued employee for an incredible 71 years.
On August 20, 1955, Regina married the love of her life, Dean Ridge. Together, they built a beautiful life rooted in family, hard work, and shared passions. Their marriage was filled with joy, especially through their mutual love of horses. Regina and Dean spent countless hours together in the barn and at the racetrack, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Regina often reflected fondly on those days, recently sharing with her family that some of her most cherished memories were the times spent horse racing and barrel racing with family and friends by her side.
She was a devoted mother to Rosanna (Thad) Pirtle, Graysville, IN and Willard John – deceased (Amy) Ridge, New Lebanon, IN. Her family was always the center of her universe, and nothing brought her more pride than her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In her quieter moments, Regina found joy in puzzles, playing cards, and reading. Her creativity shone through in her craftwork. She was exceptionally talented and creative, with a special gift for working with leather, repurposing old jewelry, and creating beautiful pieces from anything she put her hands on. She also had a love for the beach and treasured her trips to St. Pete Beach, where she enjoyed the warmth, beauty, and peacefulness of the ocean over many years.
A woman of deep faith, Regina was a member of the New Lebanon United Methodist Church. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace in her eternal home.
Regina will be remembered for her tireless work ethic, her love of family, and the warmth and joy she brought to those around her. The legacy she leaves is one of devotion, creativity, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A private gathering will be held to celebrate her life.
