Raya Hope Vaughn

Raya Hope Vaughn, 20 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022.  She was born in Terre Haute on May 18, 2002 to Johnny Wayne Vaughn and Sarita Johnson Daugherty.

Raya is survived by her mother Sarita Daugherty (Stephen) and her siblings; Shay’lynn Vaughn (James Bolton), Destinee LeMoine (Austin), Alexis Smith, Jorden Smith, and River Daugherty.  She is also survived by her step-mother, Angela Vaughn, grandparents; “Grams” Michelle Warnock, Jimmy Johnson, Dorothy Vaughn, step-grandparents, Donald and Debbie Daugherty, and Mick and Marylou Finney, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her father Johnny Wayne Vaughn, grandfather Jimmy Vaughn, Sr, and Aunt Stella.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Dennis Leek officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
