Phyllis Joan Barnes

Phyllis Joan Barnes, 64, of West Terre Haute passed away at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday September 6, 2017 in her residence. She was born January 8, 1953 at Terre Haute to Bert Chambers and Mary Beasley Chambers. Survivors include: two daughters Sara Barnes of West Terre Haute and Marissa Mahin (Douglas) of Salem, OH; three brothers Bert Chambers (Nancy), Terry Chambers (Diana), and Mike Chambers (Donna); two sisters Nancy Knew (Mark) and Linda Baker (Russell); two grandchildren Camdyn Mahin and Jasper Mahin. She was preceded in death by her parents. Phyllis enjoyed being outside and she enjoyed spending time with her family. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Pastor Wendell Kirkman officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and prior to services Monday. The family kindly suggests that if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Phyllis Barnes memorial fund with envelopes available
