Peter Louis Secondino

Peter Louis Secondino, of Shirkieville, died on March 15, 2023 after a brief illness.  Pete was born July 28, 1934 in Universal, IN.  He served in the United States Army Reserve and began to farm.

He was a steward of the land and an astute cattleman.  He excelled at both.  He loved his family, the land, and cattle.  He was a good friend to many people and much loved.

Pete was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sue (Lenderman) Secondino; parents John and Mary (Osella) Secondino; brother John F. Secondino and sister Rose Marietta.

Pete is survived his daughter Jody Secondino-Crandell (Ron); granddaughter Maria Crandell (fiancée Devyn Shafer); grandson Preston Crandell (Jenna); great granddaughter Hazel Crandell and his sister Theresa Secondino.

Pete’s wishes were to have a private service and burial.  Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN has been entrusted with arrangements.
