Paul L. Sims, Sr.

Paul L. Sims, Sr., 63, of West Terre Haute, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022 in Union Hospital.

He was born May 12, 1959 in Terre Haute to Bryan James Sims, Sr. and Catherine Chrisenberry Sims.

Paul was previously employed at Pitts Hauling.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Bill Johnston; brother, Bryan James Sims, Jr.; sisters, Trina Belleu, Sharron Pitts, and Phillis Belleu; and nephew, Little Wayne.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Price Sims; his children, Paul Sims, Jr., Roger Shumaker (Elizabeth), and Sarah Ashley Shumaker; his sister, Cathy Taylor; his grandchildren, Olivia, Sierra, Gavin, Kyle and R.J.; and two special nephews, Adam and Tyler; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana 47885, with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
