Nancy Jo Sanders

Nancy Jo Sanders (formerly Trinkle) went home to her heavenly father on July 4th 2026 in Terre Haute, Indiana. Born July 21, 1949 to Melvin and Virginia Parker in Vincennes, Indiana. She had many titles throughout her life and was a jack of all trades. But none was better than mom. She loved to cook and bake, an avid bingo goer at various locations, and she loved to dance at home. She loved her morning coffee, flowers, walking in nature, the warmth of the sun and sipping on an amaretto and coke in the evening. Christmas was her favorite time to celebrate and fourth of July was an early birthday celebration. She made her children strong. She will be missed by all who loved her.

She is proceeded in death by both of her parents, her brother David Parker, her step mother Norma Parker. She is survived by her two son's Eric (Susan) Trinkle of West Terre Haute, Shawn Trinkle of Oaktown, a step daughter, Abigail (Carma) Kirkman of Bedford, 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and 4 great grandchildren. There will be no services held at this time. In lieu of flowers the family would like those to donate to their local domestic shelter or VFW. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
