Michael David Young

Michael David Young, 47, of West Terre Haute passed away 5:09 a.m. Monday March 6, 2017 in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was the head mechanic at Burger Chrysler in Terre Haute with twenty five years of service. He was born July 7, 1969 in Terre Haute to Jack D. Young and Illa V. "Ronnie" Crook Young. Survivors include: his companion Melissa Brackall; a daughter Mikayla Young of West Terre Haute; a son Mitchell Young of Terre Haute; three step-sons Connor Russell, Dakota Jackson, and Derek Wycoff;His Parents of West Terre Haute; a brother John D. Young of West Terre Haute; four step grandchildren Chance Russell, Otto Jackson, Dawson Jackson, and Dakota Jackson. Mike enjoyed riding dirt bikes, going boating, camping, and working on cars. He also enjoyed lounging on the couch and being a weekend couch potatoe. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Leek officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and prior to services Saturday.
