Michael A. Hammond

Michael A. Hammond, 36 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 in Union Hospital.  He was born in Terre Haute on March 16, 1987 to David Hammond and Barbara Stevens Hammond.

Michael is survived by his wife Ashley Pastorius Hammond, and his son Ashton Hammond.  He is also survived by his parents, David & Barbara Hammond, his sister Beth Johnson (Ikie), a brother, Matthew Mize, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by two children, Skyler Hammond and Baby 3, sister Barbara Bracken, and brother Henry Rosa.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3^rd St., West Tere Haute, IN on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home, with cremation to follow services.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a trust fund established for his son Ashton, in Michael’s memory.
