Max Eugene Doan

Max Eugene Doan, 65, of West Terre Haute passed away Saturday April 22, 2017 in Roudebush Veterans Hospital at Indianapolis. He was born October 14, 1951 at Terre Haute. Survivors include: His Wife, Judy Doan; his parents Barbara and Jack Swalls; seven children Paul Doan (Amy), Lori Cox (Chris), Donald Doan (Ashley), Leanna Handy (Michael), Leo White, Bruce White, and Melissa Bailey; a brother Jack Swalls Jr. (Wedonia); a sister Sandy Densford (Ernie); and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Army for seven years. He had been a lead guitarist for several bands, was an accomplished artist, and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Rev. Kathy Roush officiating and Military Rites by the Vigo County Veterans Honor Guard. Cremation has been scheduled after services. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday.
