Mary Rita Porter

Mary R. (Neukom) Porter, 75, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on June 30, 2026.

Mary was a loving mother, grandmother (Mimi), sister, aunt, and friend who loved spending time with her grandchildren, playing bingo, sewing, and cuddling with her beloved cat Cuddles.

She is survived by her sons, David (Tammy) Rube and Kevin Rube (Stacy). Her cherished grandchildren Alexis, Sydney, Kaitlyn, Lillian, Kaylei, Oslo, and Avery; 4 great grandchildren; her loving friend and partner Ronald “Ronnie” Porter; her sister Barbara "Barb" Lessentine; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar Albert Neukom and Jeanne Agnes Heniff; siblings Kathleen "Kathy" Mckinney, Timothy "Tim" Neukom, and Elizabeth "Betty" Sims; and other loved ones who welcomed her home.

Mary will be remembered for her humor, outgoing spirit, and love she had for her family and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday July 11th at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, IN 47885 from 12-2 with services to follow.
