Margaret S. Stark passed away on September 3, 2016. Margaret was born on March 23, 1922 in Wilsontown, Scotland UK. Margaret has joined her husband, Peter Stark; her parents, Marion and Samuel Rowan; her brother, Thomas Rowan and her daughter, Margaret Dowen. Margaret and Peter were married in Edinburgh, Scotland on July 18, 1940 . Margaret and Peter immigrated to the USA in 1948 after WWII. Margaret was trained as a tailoress in Edinburgh when the art of tailoring was an art and the norm. She had been employed by Meis Bros at Honey Creek Square. Margaret leaves behind four daughters, Marion (Thomas) Thornton, Elizabeth (WAC) Macdonald, Agnes Webster, Mary (Daniel) Sommerville and one son, Matthew Stark. Margaret had many grandchildren, which she adored, Elizabeth Wilbur, Thomas Thornton, Nancy Campbell, Erik Macdonald, Mark Macdonald, Rebecca Connell, Margaret O'Toole, Mary Hatcher, Sarah Forker, Rush Sommerville and Rory Sommerville. She also had many great grandchlldren and had recently become a great great grandmother. Margaret had a special sister-in-law, Helen Mackenzie (Scotland UK), and a sister-in-law, Doris Stark in Evansville, IN. Her special friends were Chaluay "Tim" Nobles and Carole Deliere of Terre Haute and were always fondly thought of. Margaret loved all animals, especially her cats. The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors of Union Hospital, Susan Hester N.P. of UAP Clinic, the Visiting Nurse Association and Springhill Village.
