Margaret Ann (Lowe) Bigger

Margaret Ann Bigger, 85 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at 9:59 PM at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.  She was born in West Terre Haute on April 10, 1933 to Morris Lowe and Norma Hargett Lowe.

Margaret was a member of Eighth Street Wesleyan Church in West Terre Haute for over 50 years, enjoyed gardening and flowers, and loved traveling with her husband.

Margaret is survived by her husband Clifford E. Bigger, whom she married on July 24, 1949.  She also leaves behind four children; Allen Bigger (wife Susan), Karen Myers (husband Dale), Christina Linville (husband Melvin), and Paula Akers.  Also surviving is a brother, Ron Lowe (wife Martha), sister, Marilyn Anderson, as well as ten grandchildren; special caregiver and granddaughter Tammy Hayes (husband Bill), Kevin Bigger (wife Jami), Curtis Myers, Kimberly Thompson-Southard (husband Darren), Troy Linville, (wife Shannon), Ryan Bigger, Aaron Linville (wife Alaina), Philip Linville (wife Megan), Jacob Akers, and Benson Akers, brother-in-law, Bob Bache’, as well as twenty great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Margaret was preceded in death by a son, Rick Bigger in 1979, two sisters, Barbara Jean Phillips and Wanda Bache’, a grandson, Brent Bigger and his wife Tricia, and two great grandchildren, Caroline and Anthony.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor David Ward officiating.  Burial will follow at Bethesda Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM and again on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
