Lee Ann Gilbert

Lee Ann Gilbert, 59, of West Terre Haute, passed away May 31, 2026, in her best friend and care givers home. She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, on February 1, 1967, to Donald Lee Gilbert and Patricia “Pat” Ann Matherly. She was a member of the United States Army. She was a graduate of West Vigo High School. Lee Ann loved art, especially writing and poetry. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles and loved to feel the wind in hair.

She is preceded in death by her father, and infant brother, Robert Allen Gilbert.

She is survived by her mother, her son, Schuyler N. Rogers, special half-brother, James Lowe, special half-sister, Melissa Monson, and a best friend and caregiver, Ethel Niccum.

Cremation was chosen with a celebration of life scheduled at a later date. Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, was entrusted with care and arrangements.
