Laura Kluesner

Laura Kluesner, 70 of West Terre Haue, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2026 in Union Hospital. She was born in Terre Haue on July 28,1955 to Melvin Vester and Virginia Spitler Vester.

Laura loved spending time with her grandkids as well as spending time on the river fishing and cooking. She loved to dance and had a heart of gold.

Laura is survived by her children; Nikki Harder, “Little” Laura Buchanan (Sam), Theresa Buchanan (Ron), James Buchanan (Brandy), Edward Kluesner (Jane), Marshall Kluesner (Sharlina), and Michael Kluesner (Meg). She is also survived by her siblings; Marie Monnett, Jack Vester, Michael Pershing, Chuck Pershing, and Randy Pershing, as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents Melvin Vester and Virginia Pershing, her husband Ed Kluesner, step-daughter Jeanine Rossler, her siblings; Richard Vester, Buddy Pershing, Alice Vester, and Mary Lynn Tevlin, and three great grandbabies.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Dennis Leek officiating. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 12 Noon – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
