Larry Reed Faulkner, 65, of West Terre Haute passed away unexpectedly on Saturday July 1, 2017 in his home. He was born October 13, 1951. Larry was a dedicated Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a veteran of the Vietnam War Era. His passion was playing bingo and the lottery. Larry was liked by everyone he met and he didn't know a stranger and would talk to anyone. He has entered the heavenly gates to be with his loving mother Rose D'Addario Smith and his step-father, Jack Smith, who raised him. Larry Is survived by his two sons Donald and Larry Faulkner; brothers and sisters: twin brother Lawrence "Ronald" Faulkner and his wife Jackie, Frances J. Faulkner, Jettie Faulkner and his wife Minnie, Rich Faulkner, special sisters and brother-in-law Barbara Mundell and husband Gary, and Jacqueline Mundell and her companion George Quinn; also Suzanne Cooper and husband Brad, Michelle Smith, and Rosalie Eversole all of West Terre Haute, Darlene Smith and Jack Smith of Terre Haute and Mike Smith of Washington State, Howard Smith and wife Nellie of Pimento; special brothers-in-law Martin Mundell, Rex Switzer, and Carl Eversole. Larry is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Dorothy. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Friday July 7, 2017 in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Roush officiating. Burial will be in Soldier Circle in Highland Lawn Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites provided by the Marine Corps Reserve at Terre Haute. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and prior to services Friday. There will be a reception for family and friends at the American Legion in Rosedale immediately following the services Friday.
