Larry H. Dietz, Sr.

Larry H. Dietz, Sr., 80 of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023 in his residence.  He was born in Jasonville, IN on August 16, 1942 to Hubert Eli Dietz and Dorothy Lucille Hunter Dietz.

Larry was a United States Air Force veteran and served as an Air Police Officer.  He was a board member of the Vigo County Veterans Memorial Park and attended New Life Church, and retired from GTE.

Larry is survived by his wife Pamela Dietz, whom he married February 19, 1992 and his two children, Larry H. Dietz, II (Christine), and LaRysa Whitacre (Paul), as well as his step-children Matthew Ramb (Melissa), Jason Ramb, and Kevin Viveiros.  He is also survived by his grandchildren; Nasya Noble, Larry Dietz, III, Hailey Mackelburger, Kenzee Marietta, Max Marietta, and Eli Jacob Dietz, five step-grandchildren; Christopher Ramb, Cory Ramb, Erin Roomsburg, Sophie Ramb, and Jakob Ramb, as well as three great grandchildren.  He also leaves behind a sister, Sheila Fagg, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as two sisters, Margaret Hanley and LaDonna Ring, and granddaughter Anne Marie Dietz.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at New Life Church Celebration Center, 7900 Wabash Ave., Terre Haute, IN 47803 on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 4:00 PM, with Pastor Jeff Harpole officiating.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow services.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
