Kenneth P. Norton

Kenneth P. Norton, 75 of Rosedale, passed away in his home on April 2nd, 2026. He was born on July 24th, 1950, to Kenneth P. Norton Sr. and Nova (Matheny) Norton.

Ken worked for many years at Novelis as an operator in the Steel Workers Union and worked for some time driving a truck for IHC. He also was a board member of the AA Credit Union for some time as well as a volunteer firefighter. When Ken was not working or serving his community, he enjoyed playing poker, fishing when he could, and even enjoying the day on his back porch. Ken loved to take trips to Florida and enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.

Ken is survived by his wife Sherri Norton; children Brenda Norton (Red), Jennifer McClain (Gary), Jared Norton (Wendy), Brandon Norton (Jessica), Amy McBroom (Blair), and Joshua Hart; sister Joyce Conway; grandchildren Jerry, Jessica, Brittany, Christopher, Emma, Kenzie, and Reagan; as well as several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Kenneth Norton Sr. and Nova Norton; a brother Maynard Norton; 3 sisters Judith Garrison, Jane Hutchinson, and Virginia Strain; as well as a niece Karrie Strain.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN 47885, beginning at 1:00 pm with burial to follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the service time in the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
