Laura Kay Vicars

Laura Kay Vicars, 81 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 in Union Hospital. She was born in West Terre Haute on July 18, 1943 to Robert Hill and Ella Pettit Hill.

Kay is survived by three sons; Cleve Vicars, Mike Vicars (Ruth), and Jeff Vicars (Stephanie), as well as her grandchildren; Ashley Kimbrell (Tyler), Caitlain Barnard (Brayden), Jake Vicars, Ryan Vicars (Paige), Rachel Mixell (Tyler), Austin Vicars, and Kaylah Nethercutt (John). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; Carson Vicars, Aubrey Vicars, Kohen Vicars, Kreed Vicars, Kolt Vicars, Harrison Kimbrell, Hayes Kimbrell, Lylah Nethercutt, Marlow Nethercutt, Carter Mixell, Cade Mixell, and Wrenley Barnard. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifton E. “Buck” Vicars, as well as a daughter-in-law, Dee Vicars.

In keeping with her wishes, private family graveside services will be held in New Providence Cemetery, with Pastor Dennis Leek officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
