Julie Ann Shuman

Julie Ann Shuman, 58 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2026 in her residence. She was born in Terre Haute on March 31, 1968 to Wayne Shuman and Judith Ann Smith Shuman.

Julie was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church, West Terre Haute Order of Eastern Star Chapter # 428, Terre Haute Order of Eastern Star Chapter # 43, Daughters of the Nile, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Motor Maids of America. She was a Switchboard Operator at Terre Haute Regional Hospital for over 20 years.

Julie is survived by her father Wayne Shuman and 4 cousins; Darlene Parker, Joseph Vicars, Angel Vermeulen, and Carolyn Boes, as well as many wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Judith Ann Shuman.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in New Providence Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Order of Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile services will be conducted prior to funeral services.
