John Jeffery Prouse

John Jeffery “Jeff” Prouse, 64, of West Terre Haute, passed away September 30, 2026, in Union Hospital. He was born June 15, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois to Floyd Prouse Sr. and Eva Rehmel Prouse. He was a past member of the River of life Church, and member of the National Guard for 6 years. He was the kind of guy who could fix anything. He was the AC man. He worked for A & E for 9 years, Pepsi for 5 years, and worked for the local painter and carpenter unions. He loved golf, Nascar racing and so much more.

He is preceded in death by his son in law, Kaleb Long, his parents, his mother and father-in-law, Sharon Stuck and Raymond Stuck, and brothers, Danny, Floyd, and Alan Prouse as well as brother-in-law, Mike Stuck.

He is survived by his wife, Rae Stuck Prouse, daughter, Heather Long, sister, Sherry Kesterson (Mike), grandchildren, Hunter and Hayden, and several nieces and cousins.

Cremation was chosen with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
