Joe Rogers

Joe "Yo-Yo" Rogers, 54, of West Terre Haute went to walk those streets of gold Wednesday August 9, 2017. He loved our crazy family; his greatest prize possessions, his grandchildren Justice Jolynn Rogers and Brayden Michael Lee Rogers; his two finest accomplishments Tabitha Jo Rogers and Michael Lee Rogers and his wife Kacy Jo; his two ex-wives Theresa Rogers and Amy Rogers; his loving mother-in-law Judy Wampler; his five brothers Jury Sollars (Lila), Bill Rogers, Robert "Tubby" Rogers, Johnny Rogers (Mary), and his very special brother Tommy Rogers (Gladys); Joe's barn helpers Trevor and Zach Rogers; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents Lillian May Rogers and Joseph Perry Rogers; and his father-in-law Harry Lee Wampler. He was a member of the West Terre Haute Masonic Lodge No. 687, the Zorah Shrine, and the Moose Lodge. Joe is gone but he left many memories behind. He was bigger than life and loved everyone. A Celebration of Life will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Sycamore Winery, 1320 Durkees Ferry Road, West Terre Haute with a service at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating. In lieu of flowers and cards, Joe's request was that you take a day and spend it with family and make special memories. Fitzpatrick Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
