Jo Ann LaMaster Liffick, 75, of Terre Haute, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 10, 2026, in West Terre Haute, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Terre Haute on January 10, 1951, to Clifford and Esther Letner LaMaster. They preceded her in death. Jo Ann was a 1969 honor society graduate of Garfield High School and a 1973 graduate of Indiana State University. She was a former employee of Terre Haute Medical Laboratory, the YWCA, and retired in 2019 from Terre Haute Regional Hospital Information Desk Clerk after working since 1987. Jo Ann loved her work at Regional as she assisted patients, family members, visitors, and many others. She felt it was a small ministry the Lord had blessed her with. She always had a smile for everyone who walked through the hospital doors and often went the extra mile to be of assistance in any way she could.

She married her pastor at the time, Thomas E. Liffick, Sr., on June 14, 1974, and he preceded her in death on September 8, 1996. He was the love of her life. Jo Ann enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends, especially her granddaughters, whom she was known as "Nam." They were her sweethearts. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Jo Ann truly enjoyed worshipping her Lord Jesus Christ and was a former member of the Promise Land Apostolic Church in West Terre Haute. She assisted her husband in the early years of their marriage as he pastored the former Beech Street Pentecostal House of Prayer in Terre Haute. Later, they were both members of the former Chapel of Faith Church in Terre Haute for many years.

She is survived by a son, Thomas E. Liffick, Jr., and his companion, Stacy Hardin of West Terre Haute, a daughter, Faith Lane and her husband, Jason, granddaughters, Charity, and her companion, Paige Zivin and Hope Lane, great grandson, Canaan Goodrick., who was her God sent blessing, whom she called her "little man", all of Shirkieville, a niece, Sherry Edington and her husband Adam, two nephews, David Barth Jr. and Bill Leturgez (Stacie), several great nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Debra Barth (Dave Goodman) and Stella Leturgez Lindley, and a brother-in-law David Barth, Sr.

Funeral services for Jo Ann will be Thursday, October 15, 2026, in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, with visitation from 11 am until service time at 1 pm. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery. If friends so desire, contributions can be made to the Jimmy Swaggert Ministries, Son Life Broadcasting, PO Box 262550, Baton Rouge, LA 70826.
