Jeri Lynn Ramey Lawrence
January 3, 1947 – September 30, 2025
With heavy hearts and grateful spirits, we announce the passing of our beloved mom, grandma, Jeri Lynn Ramey Lawrence, who went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ on September 30, 2025.
Born January 3, 1947 to Hughie and Imogene Bryant Ramey, Jeri’s life was marked by faith, compassion, and love for others. She was deeply cherished by her children, grandchildren, family, and countless friends. To all who knew her, Jeri was a shining example of grace, kindness, and service.
Jeri is preceded in death by her husband Ken Lawrence (May 21, 2025), and together they now rejoice in heaven. She is also preceded in death by their infant daughter, Theresa Lynn, both of her parents, her older sister Sandra Neice, and several family members. Jeri leaves behind a legacy of faith and love that will continue to live on through her family and those she touched throughout her life.
Jeri is survived by her children; Kevin and his wife Jan, Angela Millar and her husband, Adam, and Greg and his wife, Jamie, as well as her grandchildren; Lyndsay, and her husband, Larry, Kylie, Rachel and her husband, Kurtis, Danyel and her husband, Ryan, Adam, Kara and her husband, Curtis, Ciera and her husband Stephen, Noah, Harlie, Morgan, and Thomas. She also leaves behind her great grandchildren; Addison, Amariah, Iris, Laykn, Karlie, Kolten, Samuel, Maddison, Daniel, Archer, Ryder, Mercy, Amelia, Isaac, Grace, Kennedy, Norah, Dylan Jean, Mason, Jackson, and Carson, and several nieces and nephews.
Jeri owned and operated her own beauty shop, Jeri’s Casual Curls and worked at West Vigo Elementary School with special needs children, and volunteered as Kids Hope Director at Oubache School for 15 years. She also assisted in many local non-profit organizations. She was a member of Terre Haute Church of God, where she attended and volunteered for over 32 years.
Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM, with Bishop Dennis Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
