James Craig "Jimmy O" Ofsansky

James Craig “Jimmy O” Ofsansky, 68 of Terre Haute, Indiana, died in his home on Saturday, April 27, 2024.  He was born on February 28, 1956 to Annabelle Reeves Ofsansky and Joseph Ofsansky.

James was survived by his girlfriend of twenty-four years, Nicci Crumrin.  The family left to cherish his memory are his children, Jill Scott of Terre Haute, Indiana, Brittanny Cazee (Matt) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Bridgette Houser (Steve) of Shelburn, Indiana, James W.C. Ofsansky of Terre Haute, Indiana, and Brice Ofsansky (Chelsea) of Prairie Creek, Indiana, along with eleven beautiful grandchildren.  Siblings of James include Sharon Samford (Dean), Joseph Ofsansky (Donna) and Tina Huddleson (Steve).  He attended North Vigo High School.  James enjoyed poker and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.  He will be truly missed by all that knew him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3^rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Ben Wetherington officiating.   In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow services.  Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM in the funeral home.
